In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Horace, Dewy, and Mickey and a sister, Mageline. He loved his dogs, especially Australian Shepherds. When he retired, he loved to garden and took pride in growing fresh vegetables and giving them away to his friends and those in need. He traveled to many countries while serving in the Air Force and rose to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Linley married his English wife, Diana, while serving a tour of duty in England, and they have been married for 62 years. He joined the United States Air Force as soon as he graduated from high school and served for over 28 years. Linley was born January 3, 1938, in Hamilton, AL, to the late George Parmer and Ruby Wamble Linley. Lake of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Lake of Chesapeake, Ohio and Isaac Lake of Lawrenceburg, IN.
